2007 Clendenen Family Vineyards Tocai Friulano The vineyard was planted by Jim Clendenen on leased land at Bien Nacido Vineyard in 1994. The wine was barrel fermented in neutral oak, left sur-lie until malo-lactic was finished, and bottled unfiltered. The wine is very exuberant, with melon and apple fruit, and is long, zesty, refreshing, and complete – it has moderate (13% alcohol) weight, nice texture, and great acidity.
