2007 Clendenen Family Vintners Sauvignon Blanc This vineyard in the Happy Canyon district is ideally suited to Bordeaux varietals. Our first harvest from this vineyard, the 2006, was bottled separately under a whimsical moniker, but thought enough of the fruit to include the '07 in our CFV portfolio. The wine was barrel fermented, aged on the lees, is 100% malo-lactic and unfiltered. The wine is medium weight with flavors of grapefruit pith and spice, nice texture, and a long, clean finish.
