The Montefico vineyard, translated “hill of figs, is one of the best areas devoted specifically to the cultivation of the Nebbiolo grape. The 3.4 acre vineyard’s location, in the commune of Barbaresco, allows sunlight from dawn to dusk. This special disposition allows the Nebbiolo grape to produce a wine of distinctive character with a bouquet of ripe black cherry fruit, stewed fruits, and subtle oak nuances. Its elegant taste is warm, rich and absolutely fascinating with a perfect balance of fruit, tannin and structure for aging.
